The story in three steps
The challenge
Tilburg-Noord had no central place for what goes on in the neighbourhood. Organisations and foundations didn't reach every group of residents.
What we built
One platform for the whole neighbourhood. Organisations and foundations manage their own page, events and news. Residents find everything in a neighbourhood calendar and on a map, follow organisations and join in through comments and polls. To reach as many residents of this multicultural neighbourhood as possible, everything is translated automatically into five languages, Arabic right to left. When signing up, residents pick one of the eleven areas.
The result
Residents feel more involved in their neighbourhood. In one recognisable place they see what is going on, discover local initiatives and can safely share their opinion. That makes taking part easier and builds trust that their voice matters.
